Windows Live Messenger PIC/Federation IP-Adress

För att öka kapaciteten och stabiliteten på PIC-trafiken, lägger Windows Live Messenger till en IP-adress för att hantera detta. Om du har begränsat trafiken i din brandvägg, vilka IP-adresser som tillåts, då bör du uppdatera din konfiguration senast 1 februari. Dessa IP-adresser är det som gäller för Windows Live Messenger PIC/Federation:

64.4.9.181
64.4.9.245
64.4.50.110 (ny IP-adress)
65.54.52.53
65.54.52.245
65.54.227.249

Office Live Meeting 2007 Client 8.0.6362.149

Nu är även den uppdaterade versionen av Office Live Meeting 2007 Client tillgänglig. Ladda ner version 8.0.6362.149 här. Det är synd att inte versionsnumret står på sidan där man hämtar produkten.

Conferencing Add-in for Outlook 8.0.6362.149

Microsoft har släppt version 8.0.6362.149 av Conferencing Add-in for Outlook. Denna version kommer dessutom i både 32-bitars- och 64-bitarsversion, bra för alla som börjat köra 64-bitarsversionen av Office 2010 beta.

En ny version av Live Meeting-klienten lär också vara på gång.

Yesterday the first update to Office Communicator 2007 R2 hit the web. You can get the update KB967673 here. After updating the application version number is 3.5.6907.9. The list of fixes included in the update is found here.

Idag har jag installerat R2-versionen av Office Communicator för att se om den är kompatibel med Office Communications Server 2007 och det fungerade fint! Några av skillnaderna jag ser direkt är att man ser de Notes som ens kontakter på MSN skrivit, det gjorde man inte tidigare. Dessutom ser man om de personer som också använder Office Communicator är inloggade på Communicator Mobile eller som nedan – på en Phone device utan chatt-möjlighet:

Today I have installed Office Communicator 2007 R2 to see if it is compatible with the R1 version of Office Communications Server 2007 – and it is! Some of the new things I have found are: You can see the Notes that your MSN contacts have written. You can see if your contacts that are also running Office Communicator are logged in with the Communicator Mobile client or as below – on a Phone device without chat capabilities:

	Jag ser idag att Microsoft uppdaterat Windows Live Messenger-ikonen för externa kontakter i Office Communicator. Man tänker ju inte varje dag på hur den där ikonen ser ut, men jag noterade att den hade ett fräschare utseende idag när jag loggade på.
	I noticed when logging on to Office Communicator this morning that Microsoft has updated the Windows Live Messenger icon for external users in Office Communicator. You don’t look at that icon every time you start a chat session with someone, but I noticed that it had a new look today 🙂
