OCS in a virtual environment

Microsoft has announced official support for server virtualisation for Office Communications Server 2007 R2.

The following server roles can be deployed in a virtual environment.

Front-End
Back-End SQL 2008 64 bit
Archiving
Monitoring (CDR only)
Edge Access
Group Chat Channel Servers
Group Chat Compliance Servers
